王文，中国人民大学重阳金融研究院院长、全球领导力学院院长、丝路学院副院长、特聘教授、博士生导师，中美人文交流研究中心（教育部）执行主任，兼任中国金融学会绿色金融专业委员会秘书长、国务院参事室金融研究中心研究员、中国人民外交学会理事、欧美同学会理事、《智库理论与实践》副主编、《中国科学院院刊》青年编委会副主任及莫斯科国立大学、兰州大学等国内外10多所知名大学客座教授。曾任《环球时报》编委（主管评论）和社评起草人，2011年“中国新闻奖”获得者，著有《百年变局》《强国长征路：百国调研归来看中华复兴和世界未来》《思想坦克：中国智库过去、现在与未来》《大金融时代：走向金融强国之路》《碳中和与中国未来》等40余本，在《求是》《人民日报》《纽约时报》《管理世界》《政治学研究》等国内外报纸期刊发表各类文章1000多篇。
王文走访调研近百国（包括南极点），撰写的研究报告多次获党和国家领导人批示与肯定，是多个部委的咨询专家，曾获“2014中国十大智库人物”、“2015中国发展改革领军人物”、2016影响中国年度智库、2017年文化名家暨“四个一批”人才、2019-2024年连续获人大智库建设先进个人奖或优秀党员、2020年国家“万人计划”哲学社会科学领军人才、2022年（第八届）中华优秀出版物奖等荣誉。2016年习近平总书记主持哲学社会科学工作座谈会，王文是发言学者之一。
王文曾先后就读于兰州大学、香港浸会大学、南京大学－约翰斯·霍普金斯大学、北京大学等高校。

近日，由中国人民大学重阳金融研究院执行院长王文教授所著的《思想坦克：中国智库的过去、现状与未来》一书出版。“思想坦克”是英文中“智库”一词的直译，意指思想应该像坦克那样有进攻力和影响力。

Based on the theory of currency sovereignty, this book elaborates the establishment process of currency sovereignty in different countries and regions to emphasize the necessity and urgency to consolidate China’s currency sovereignty with current changes of international finance. And the importance of China’s currency sovereignty will be shown in the book from four main aspects, local government budgets, the rigid payment of bank financing, the reform of state-owned enterprise and the establishment of multi-level capital markets.
